He has yet to demonstrate that he would change a single thing, especially in the realm of foreign policy.

unlike bush, i believe romney would actually get involved instead of leaving it up to the generals. he has a great mind and would be a great commander in chief. bush is not smart enough. romney is awesome at accessing a situation and turning things around.

ron paul is out of the race. I don't think having a stronger military is ever a bad thing if it turns out to be needed. And at the same time look at his leadership in everything he's done. he KNOWS what he's doing. stop being in denial of that. the only things he has had issues with is standing for the wrong thing to get elected and perhaps kissing up to people and politicians just to get elected.

Don't get me wrong guys, I like Romney a lot. He seems pretty genuine and there is no doubting his accomplishments, which are many. I predict him to not only get the Republican nomination but to beat Hillary handily in the election. His credentials and positions will win the day. I only worry that he's going to continue the degradation of the constitution. I mean he had the craziness to say that we need to "double Guantanamo." Ron Paul is correct in decrying such an abuse of power.

Revere- I understand where you're comming from. I also want the constitution to be followed. However, I do not agree w/your assessment of what's taking place in guantanamo. Habeas rules do not protect POWs as they protect Americans. Terrorists that are caught are the POWs in todays War on Terror. They should not have the protections of civilian criminals in America.

This is an unclear area in the constitution (BTW). The leading constitutialists are unsure about how far the power/protection of habeas corpus extends. If you read the last SC ruling on it, 5 separate opinions came from the 9 Justices. Please understand, I do dig some of RPs ideas -- we should be more constitutionalist and libertarian. I just like Romney's overall package better.
