charlesf ::: Favorites Not all horrors of war need to or ought to make on television. Mutilated bodies and such should not be shown, IMO. 07-03-27 20:31:05 _____________________________________________________ | |
Vet223 ::: Favorites Of course they say that, they're in broadcasting (and apparently have a very weak idea of what media coverage of the Vietnam war was like). They are in denial of the media's overwhelming bias towards bad news. Lots of positive advancements happen daily throughout Iraq and Afghanistan *and are videotaped*, but is a profit driven media organization going to air any of it? Not a chance- they want death, sex, and scandal... it sells. 07-06-15 03:38:46 _____________________________________________________ |
