Description: Analysis of MAYBE the biggest long jump ever. Also it has been reported in many books and reports that Ivan Pedroso had a very narrow 9.03m foul at the 1995 Pan-American Games Men's Long Jump final. |

broadjumper1 ::: Favorites 2008-01-28 00:28:10 First off, get your facts straight. In Sestriere Italy in 1995 Pedroso jumped 8.96 metres with a wind of +1.2. This would have been the world record, but the Italian Athletics Federation did not forward the result to the IAAF for ratification, since the wind mark was declared invalid because an official stood in front of the wind gauge. Pedroso NEVER jumped no 9.20, foul or otherwise. __________________________________________________

Ernie4473 ::: Favorites 2007-12-29 03:30:27 Ivan pedroso jumped 8.96m in Italy in 95' or 96' but his jump was ruled foul because one of the judges was in front on the wind meter the moment he jumped. If he would have been Lewis or somebody else like that he would have been given the jump. Also, he jumped 9.20m and it was ruled foul for less than a cm. __________________________________________________
