(Trying to) Catch Darkrai . An Epic Failure

Tags: pokemon  diamond  pearl  darkrai  catch  failure  glitch  blaziken   Description: (recorded in November 2006) Trying to catch Darkrai for a friend, who also had a Japanese game with the working Elite 4 glitch, enabling us to "legally" catch Darkrai and Shaymin (I've heard they fixed it in the US version... is that true ?). For a very obscure reason, I had NO problem catching Darkrai on MY game ; I caught it in 5 Dusk Balls or so (probably a bit of luck, considering its low catch rate), but here... it was just epic. We had found that a good way to get Darkrai's HP down to catchable level was to start out with Blaziken, and use Quick Attack + Blaze Kick. Blaze Kick seems to have a high critical hit rate / burn rate. Chaos ensued.
