I agree aome do pay taxes. lets be clear on one thing, they dont have anything taken out their checks beacuse TIN number does not confer permossiom tp wprk legally in usa they file tax returns merely hopimg the tax paying illegal has a better shot at legal status. As for the spending they do spend a great portion here buying the goods much like the rest of us. There are dollars leaving the country going to the families but you and I would do the same.

"Illegal" immigrants DO pay taxes. One doesn't need a SS# for employment. Government issues TaxID#'s to those who don't have a SS#. Illegal immigrants use a TaxID, so money / taxes get taken out of their checks and pay into a system for services and benefits they will never be eligible for! Also, they spend their paychecks right here.. contributing to the economy.
