Mrspascal122 ::: Favorites I watched CAMP version of this, and this this one, and god, both amazing. But, oh-so crazy! :) I love it either way! :) 07-10-03 15:15:07 __________________________________________________
auroranyc ::: Favorites If I remember correctly, Baayork Lee said on Seth Rudetsky's Broadway Chatterbox that they did, indeed, keep a chiropractor on staff. 07-09-28 21:19:49 __________________________________________________
robjo1 ::: Favorites Excellent!!!!! Love that show! Thanks for posting. 07-09-26 20:09:08 __________________________________________________
jsct66 ::: Favorites WOW! I hope the original broadway company had a medical doctor on staff. Those dancers really worked. And Donna! Dang! That is HISTORY, Boys and Girls! Thanks for posting!! 07-09-18 22:55:08 __________________________________________________

anthonyraphaelv ::: Favorites I saw this 37 years ago and it brought the house down as the finale of Act 1. Donna was incredible -- the way she moved her neck, arms and whole body was amazing. Everyone excuded sheer joyful energy to very original Michael Bennet choreography. It was such a great number and so reflective of the time when it was produced, especially the costumes and the other girls wearing hair falls. Thanks so much for posting it. It's one which always brings a smile to my face and of which I never tire. 07-09-09 23:33:57 __________________________________________________
someforunclejoe ::: Favorites The other version of this that appears on Ed Sullivan is available if you all go to Google and do a search for "Turkey Lurkey Time" under video. (It's on a MySpace viewer, minus Donna.) It's fun and clear, but just goes to show how much, much, much better things are with Donna McKechnie. There just isn't enough live footage of her dancing. Sigh. 07-09-08 16:50:53 __________________________________________________
scotpens ::: Favorites "Miss Wong, of Mimeograph" -- God, does anyone remember mimeograph machines? Delightful number, even if it is a silly song. Used to listen to the original Broadway cast album all the time back then. 07-09-03 15:45:46 __________________________________________________
BalletBabyBoy ::: Favorites FABULOUS! I am thrilled to see this with all the amazing performances. What a great number. You won't see dancing like this anymore. I wish all these great things would be put on DVD so they can finally be preserved and learned from. WONDERFUL!!!! PS Donna didn't do it when it was danced on the Ed Sullivan show but B. was in it. It's not as good but still fantastic! 07-08-25 19:02:42 __________________________________________________ |
