Zomer Jazz Fiets Tour:GrunRoots 25 aug2007 GRUNROOTS with: Behsat Uvez (Turkey) saz & cura & ud & vocal & percussion, Alex Simu (Rumania) flute & clarinet & tenorsax, Bert van Erk (Netherlands) doublebass, Mousse Pathe M'Baye (Senegal) sabar & djembe & tama & vocal. All are based in Groningen in The Netherlands. They improvise on own compositions and Turkish classics. The band's first concert was this one on the ZomerJazzFietsTour (the prettiest festival in Holland). Parfois je compose une mélodie avec un texte pour chanter. Mes compositions sont surtout utilisées dans mes propres ensembles comme Bert's Breeze, CrinCrin, Afro Jazz Jam et Tegenwind. J'arrange aussi les pièces d'autres compositeurs comme Duke Ellington, Thelonious Monk ou Charles Mingus. Je compose et arrange aussi pour les projets musicaux ou théâtraux ou en commission. |
