Description: A River Phoenix tribute video to the song "Il Adore" from the Boy George musical Taboo. Clips are courtesy of many Phoenix films, in addition to the Cam Archer documentary entitled "American Fame pt.1: Drowing River Phoenix". Images from the latter may be upsetting to some viewers (the opening shot in particular), but I assure you I did not try to use them in bad taste. This video is ultimately about his death, and the love we lost that day. |

riversock23 ::: Favorites this really isnt river phoenix in the video when he passed away he was still filming ''DARK BLOOD'' and he had a dark buzz cut not his long hair. the actors name is jasper bel. so this really isnt river phoenix its just a documentary. 07-10-05 16:45:11 __________________________________________________
webelonghere ::: Favorites where did you find that clip anyway with the blood? 07-09-30 08:47:36 __________________________________________________
caitlinalicia ::: Favorites Then watch another one of my videos on him. Please. People tend to take to those ones quite fondly, finding them to be more fitting tributes to his memory. 07-09-19 15:07:16 __________________________________________________
sheffieldminx ::: Favorites what we want to hold onto is the memory of how he lived his life and the effect he had on many people not his tragic untimely death at least not in the way u have chosen to portray it. 07-09-19 13:00:41 __________________________________________________
sheffieldminx ::: Favorites whatever u say u must have known that you would get people complainin about this 'tribute'.people want to see rivers life not death he is a hero to many and the image of his death u have posted is not the true one no i dont think a real fan of river could post this i have seen many other tributes that point out what a great an wonderful life he led but without the use of such sickening scenes 07-09-19 13:00:26 __________________________________________________
caitlinalicia ::: Favorites This video is meant to emphasize that while something bad happened at the end of River's life, there was so much beauty before hand we can still hold onto. Watch one of my other videos before you attack my idea of a "tribute". 07-09-19 12:42:08 __________________________________________________
caitlinalicia ::: Favorites Don't tell me what I can or cannot post. And do not question who is able to have the title of "fan". You may think this is grotesque but let me tell you something: River's death WAS grotesque. Not in the sense that it was bloody, but because it was sad in the tragic way. This is not a mockery. Get over yourself. This IS a tribute, whether you are able to see it or not. 07-09-19 12:41:35 __________________________________________________ |
